Abstract: This office provides a relaxed, informal environment open to the entire Linux & VM community attending SHARE. First-time attendees are especially invited to come in at their leisure, between sessions, if there are no other interesting sessions, or even to bring their lunch! There will often be other attendees (both new and old) to ask questions of or relate experiences with (VM and Linux activities, IBM, whatever). Speakers from VM and Linux sessions are encouraged to place additional and leftover handouts in this room for those who missed them. There are often raffles to enter, new publications to peruse, and questionnaires to fill out.

Abstract: Consultants charge companies large fees to determine the psychological types of their employees. In this 3-1/2 hour interactive session, you get the opportunity to learn yours! First you will complete a 'Personality Type Inventory' and have the results assessed and discussed during this session. Then you will be guided through a series of interactive exercises to experience all the Cognitive Processes that comprise your Psychological Type. The similarities and differences between 16 Psychological Types are detailed. Even if you already know your type, we bet you've never experienced it this way! If you plan to attend, please e-mail Share@TypeInsights.com so we may provide sufficient materials.

Note: This is a double session. Between Noon and 12:30 PM attendees will complete the PTI analysis tool. Following a short break, the session will proceed.

Abstract: The manager of ISPF Development and Service from the IBM Australia Development Laboratory (West Perth), along with two of the ISPF and SCLM developers will cover what's new in ISPF and SCLM. The latest announcements relating to ISPF and SCLM for the next release of z/OS will be discussed, complete with live demos on some of the new features.

An overview of the ISPF project schedule for the week and the ISPF Certificate Program will also be covered. If you started this program at a previous SHARE but did not get finished, please bring your passport book to complete your certificate. Attendees are required to attend 80% of the ISPF sessions to earn a certificate. This session counts towards the ISPF Certificate Program.
