A major work stream of the SOA Consortium's community of practice is the development of a Business-Driven SOA Planning Framework. The goal of this work is to raise practitioner awareness on the scope and impact of the business-driven SOA journey. Our framework identifies the major business-driven SOA activities and provides guidance to plan and execute those activities. The guidance comes from SOA Consortium practitioner experience and industry practices.

In this session, SOA Consortium founding members Burc Oral and Yogish Pai, along with program director Brenda Michelson, will unveil the SOA Planning Framework and discuss sections of interest with the audience in an interactive workshop format. We will include insights gleaned in this session in our SOA Planning Framework.
